Mauro Bertolino was born in Turin, and obtained his diploma in piano at the G. Verdi conservatory.
He then improved his technique in Madrid, Saint Petersburg and London with Francoise Joel Thiollier, Michael Pletnev and Jacques Loussier.
From 1996 to 2001 he collaborated with the RAI Symphonic Orchestra, and participated in many tours in Europe, America and Asia, where he played under the direction of important conductors like Claudio Abbado, Riccardo Muti and Lorin Maazel.
He is author of soundtracks for tv programmes and performed in Italy’s main theatres.
He is currently working on a new album including new interpretations of great classics.
His main show is Forbidden Colours, a musical voyage that explores worlds that live beyond space and time.
